Mankato United Soccer Club invites you to participate in the 2010 Mankato Riverbend SoccerFest, a soccer jamboree for rec plus and C3 teams age groups U8-U14.
Soccerfest will run from 9 am to approximately 6 pm on Saturday, June 12, 2009, with play at Land of Memories park and Thomas O. Anderson fields.
We will have separate brackets for boys and girls teams in U8, U10, U12 and U14.
Our goal for SoccerFest is to provide players with an opportunity to experience the pleasure and excitement of playing soccer in a jamboree environment that is safe, fair and fun. All players will receive participation medals. A free tournament souvenir will be provided to all rostered players and team head coach.

Riverbend SoccerFest is tobacco, alcohol, and drug free.
Mankato Riverbend Soccerfest will follow FIFA rules except as modified by MYSA and the tournament.
Check-in: Teams must submit an official roster and medical authorization forms for players. Check-in will begin at 7 am.
All competitive and Rec-Plus players must be registered with MYSA and have valid player passes. Rec players must be listed on a team roster.
All referees will be certified USSF officials.
Each team will play three games. We will try and schedule a break between matches.
SoccerFest is a player-centered event. Everyone present will be responsible for helping to promote a positive atmosphere. Players, coaches, spectators and officials, will follow the code of conduct as described in the MYSA Policies and Rules Manual.
Procedures for red cards will follow the MYSA Policies and Rules Manual.

SoccerFest Team Registration Fees:
Registration Deadline: May 17, 2010.
Acceptance: Mankato Riverbend SoccerFest will accept teams based on date of receipt of registration. Once brackets are full, any additional teams will be placed on waiting lists. Teams will receive notification of acceptance no later than May 31, 2010.
Withdrawal: A team that withdraws before May 30 will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee. If another team is available to take the place of the team withdrawing, then the withdrawing team will receive a 100% refund, minus a $20 administrative fee. Teams that withdraw after June 1 will receive no refund.
